There are plenty of natural clear skin remedies available which are a much kinder option than covering the skin with harsh, unknown chemicals – it is often a cheaper option too. Many of these remedies can be found in the ordinary kitchen cabinet, there's no need to buy lots of expensive lotions and potions.
Apple Cider Vinegar – This is a terrific natural remedy which is great for clear skin. It is powerful enough to kill off much of the bacteria which are the basic cause of skin problems. Take note not to use too much though which could cause the sebaceous glands into over production and create another problem. It's easy to use, too. After washing the face, pat it dry and apply a mixture of 1 part vinegar and 3 parts fresh water. Be sure to moisturize afterwards to prevent the skin from become too dried out.
Egg Whites – This is another cheap, affordable solution and it is a completely natural product as well. They are packed to the rafters with vitamins and proteins which have superb acne combating properties as well as helping to rebuild the skin cells and soaking up excess oil. Separate two or three egg yolks and whites. Whisk whites to a froth and pat onto a freshly washed and dried face. Leave the mask in place until it has dried and then rinse off after around 20 minutes using warm, clean water. Pat your face dry with a clean, soft cloth. Once again, it is advisable to apply moisturizer immediately afterwards.
Papaya Those Pimples – Many beauty products contain papaya because the properties of this super fruit are well known in the fight against acne and pimples. These properties are readily available in an ordinary, simple fresh papaya. Simply mash it up to a pulp and apply to the newly washed and dried face. Leave it for approximately twenty minutes before rinsing carefully with warm water. Don't forget to apply that all important moisturizer.
Banana Peel – The health benefits of eating bananas are well known, but many people don't realize that the peel from the banana can also be very beneficial when it comes to clearing up your skin. After eating the banana, rub the peel all over the face using a circular motion. Leave the residue on the skin for a half hour before washing off gently with warm, fresh water.
Steam – Many of the oldest and easiest remedies are still the best and none come easier than steam! As well as helping to open up the airways, the steam can also open the pores, flushing out any impurities lurking beneath the surface. All it takes is a large bowl of boiling water and a towel. Leave the water to cool for a few minutes before placing your head over the bowl and draping the towel over to make a sort of tent. Do this for 10 to 15 minutes daily as necessary.
